Alexander Hamilton Laidlaw

Alexander Hamilton Laidlaw (1890-1962) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He wrote for the New York Times and other publications, and was a frequent contributor to The New Yorker. He wrote several books, including The Great Adventure (1930), The Great Adventure of Life (1932), and The Great Adventure of the Mind (1935). He also wrote several plays, including The Great Adventure (1931) and The Great Adventure of Life (1933). He was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
