Alice Askew (1863-1941) was an English author of supernatural fiction. She was born in London and educated at the Royal College of Music. She wrote several novels, including Aylmer Vance and the Vampire (1900), The House of the Vampire (1902), and The Vampire's Trail (1903). Askew was a popular author in her day, and her works were praised for their imaginative and suspenseful plots. She was also known for her vivid descriptions of the supernatural and her ability to create a sense of dread and mystery. Askew died in 1941 in London.
