Jackson Howell Jr. (1876-1951) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He wrote several books, including Money Island (1908), a novel about a group of young people who set out to find a hidden island of gold. He also wrote a number of short stories and articles for magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post and Collier's Weekly. He was a member of the Authors League of America and the National Institute of Arts and Letters. He died in 1951 in New York City.
