Antonio Buero Vallejo (1916-2000) was a Spanish playwright, poet, and novelist. He is considered one of the most important Spanish dramatists of the 20th century. He was born in Guadalajara, Spain, and studied law at the University of Madrid. Buero Vallejo's works often focus on the struggles of the working class and the injustices of Spanish society.
