Apsley Cherry-Garrard was a British explorer and ornithologist who was part of Robert Falcon Scott's Terra Nova Expedition to Antarctica from 1910 to 1913. He is best known for his role as a member of the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, where he suffered severe frostbite during a trek to the South Pole.
