Arnold Marmor is a professor of English at the University of Toronto. He has published extensively on the history of English literature, including books on the works of William Shakespeare, John Milton, and Geoffrey Chaucer. He has also written extensively on the history of Canadian literature, and has edited several anthologies of Canadian poetry. He is the author of several books, including The Oxford Companion to Canadian Literature and The Oxford Companion to English Literature. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and a member of the Order of Canada.
