Arturo Reyes is a Mexican-American author and poet from Los Angeles, California. He is the author of two books of poetry, The Book of Hours (2018) and The Book of Days (2020). His work has been featured in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, and other publications. He has been a featured reader at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, the Los Angeles Poetry Festival, and the San Francisco International Poetry Festival. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
