Beatrice Heron-Maxwell (1863-1951) was an English author and poet. She was born in London and educated at the Royal College of Music. She wrote several novels, including The Devil Stone (1895), The House of the Seven Gables (1896), and The House of the White Rose (1897). Heron-Maxwell was also a prolific poet, publishing several collections of her work, including The Poems of Beatrice Heron-Maxwell (1902). She was a member of the Society of Authors and the Royal Literary Fund. Heron-Maxwell was a strong advocate for women's rights and was a member of the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies. She died in 1951 in London.
