Caleb Strong (1745-1819) was an American lawyer and politician who served as the sixth and tenth Governor of Massachusetts. He was a leading figure in the development of the US Constitution and was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention of 1787. He was also a member of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and a member of the US Senate. Strong was a prominent Federalist and was a strong supporter of the US Constitution. He was a major political figure in Massachusetts during the early years of the United States.
