Charles Dye is a writer, editor, and publisher who has been involved in the publishing industry for over 25 years. He is the author of several books, including the award-winning novel The Last Days of Magic, and the nonfiction book The Art of Self-Publishing. He is also the founder and publisher of the independent publishing house, Dye Press. Charles has a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and has worked as an editor for several major publishing houses, including HarperCollins, Random House, and Penguin. He has also served as a consultant for a number of independent publishers. Charles is passionate about helping authors reach their publishing goals, and has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences and workshops. He is also a regular contributor to several industry publications, including Publishers Weekly and Writer’s Digest. Charles lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children.
