The Months: a Pageant

The Months: a Pageant

Twelve months, personified as brothers and sisters, succeed one another at a cottage and in its grounds, feeding birds, sheltering lambs and bringing seasonal flowers and produce. Summer storms and autumn’s falling leaves give way to winter fires; December makes an evergreen wreath and sings of a carol heard by shepherds, before all twelve join hands and dance.
