Christopher Spotswood (1850-1917) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He wrote several books, including Voyage of Will Rogers to the South Pole (1888), which was a popular adventure novel. He also wrote for several newspapers, including the New York Times and the New York Tribune. He was a member of the Authors Club of New York and the American Geographical Society. He died in 1917 in New York City.
