Daniel Wise

Daniel Wise (1820-1890) was an American author and minister. He was born in New York and graduated from Union College in 1841. He was ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1844 and served as a pastor in several churches in New York and Pennsylvania. Wise wrote several books, including Aunt Amy; or, How Minnie Brown Learned to be a Sunbeam (1853), a children's book about a young girl who learns the importance of being kind and helpful. He also wrote several books on religious topics, including The Christian's Guide to Heaven (1860) and The Christian's Guide to the Bible (1863). Wise died in 1890 in Pennsylvania.
