Little Puss, Junior, embarks on an adventure through Mother Goose country on his Good Gray Horse. During his journey, he encounters a spider who inadvertently transforms a dewdrop into a diamond due to a magical feather in Puss's hat. The spider, uninterested in the diamond, allows Puss to keep it. As he continues, Puss faces a steep hill with no clear path. A dwarf appears, offering to attach wings to the horse's shoes in exchange for the diamond. After the horse takes flight, they cross a mountain, and the wings turn into silky hairs upon landing. Puss then visits an inn, where he meets a singing bird and an old man with a magical pipe that produces flying pigeons. The old man hints at the wonders of Mother Goose Land, suggesting that Puss will encounter many strange adventures. As night falls, Puss rides through a quiet forest, only to be interrupted by a tiny fairy who commands him to halt with a silver wand. This sets the stage for further magical encounters and challenges in Puss's journey.
