Edmund Wilson (1895–1972) was an American writer, literary critic, and editor. He was born in Red Bank, New Jersey, and educated at Princeton University. Wilson worked as an editor for Vanity Fair and The New Republic and contributed to The New Yorker. He was known for his critical essays and books, including "Axel's Castle" and "To the Finland Station." Wilson's work often explored literature, history, and politics.
