Edward Mott Robbins (1868-1948) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He began his career as a journalist, writing for the New York Times and other publications. He later became a novelist, writing several books, including The Great Adventure (1912), The House of the Seven Gables (1913), and The House of Mirth (1915). He also wrote several plays, including The Great Adventure (1913) and The House of Mirth (1915). Robbins was a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the National Institute of Arts and Letters. He died in 1948 in New York City.
