Elizabeth Gordon (1868-1948) was an American author and poet. She was born in New York City and educated at the Packer Collegiate Institute. She wrote several books of poetry, including A Sheaf of Roses (1915), The Rose Garden (1917), and The Garden of Dreams (1919). She also wrote several novels, including The House of Dreams (1917) and The House of Joy (1919). Her work was praised for its lyrical beauty and its exploration of themes such as love, loss, and faith. She was a member of the Poetry Society of America and the National League of American Pen Women. She died in 1948 in New York City.
