Louisa Moresby (1845-1925) was an English author and poet. She was born in London and educated at home. She wrote several books, including The Life of a Country Girl (1876), The Story of a Country Town (1877), and The Story of a Country Village (1878). She also wrote poetry, including The Poems of Louisa Moresby (1880). Her works were popular in the late 19th century and she was praised for her vivid descriptions of rural life. She was a member of the Royal Society of Literature and the Society of Authors. She died in 1925 in London.
