Three Dominican Nuns

Three Dominican Nuns is a novel by Elizabeth Madox Roberts, published in 1926. It tells the story of three nuns living in a convent in rural Kentucky in the early twentieth century. The nuns, Sister Mary Magdalene, Sister Mary Joseph, and Sister Mary Agnes, are devoted to their faith and to their community, but they are also struggling with their own personal issues. Sister Mary Magdalene is a young, idealistic nun who is struggling to reconcile her faith with her own desires and ambitions. Sister Mary Joseph is a middle-aged nun who is struggling with her own doubts and fears. Sister Mary Agnes is an elderly nun who is struggling with her own physical ailments and the loss of her beloved sister. As the novel progresses, the three nuns must confront their own inner struggles and find a way to reconcile their faith with their own personal needs.
