Fred Duprez (1890-1962) was an American playwright and screenwriter. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He wrote several plays, including My Wife's Family, A Farcical Comedy in Three Acts, which was published around 1941. He also wrote for the screen, including the films The Big Broadcast of 1938 and The Big Broadcast of 1937. He was married to actress and singer Ruth Etting. He died in 1962 in Los Angeles, California.
