G.H. Perris (1850-1922) was an English author and journalist. He was born in London and educated at King's College, London. He wrote several books on Leo Tolstoy, including Leo Tolstoy: His Life and Work (1903) and The Life and Works of Leo Tolstoy (1905). He also wrote several other books on Russian literature, including The Russian Novelists (1906) and The Russian Revolution (1909). He was a frequent contributor to The Times and other periodicals. He was also a member of the Royal Society of Literature.
