George Grossmith (1847–1912) was an English actor, singer, playwright, composer, and author. He is best remembered for his comic performances in the original productions of the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas. Weedon Grossmith (1854–1919) was an English author and illustrator. He is best known for his humorous novel The Diary of a Nobody, which he wrote with his brother George. He also wrote several other novels, including The White Feather and The Uncommercial Traveller. He also wrote and illustrated several books for children.
