George L. Eaton (1890-1962) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He worked as a reporter for the New York World and the New York Evening Post before becoming a freelance writer. He wrote several books, including Bill Barnes Takes a Holiday (1937), The Great Adventure (1938), and The Big Show (1939). He also wrote for magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, and Liberty. He was a member of the Authors League of America and the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
