Harold Bindloss

Harold Edward Bindloss (1866–1945) was an English novelist who wrote adventure stories set in the Canadian West and in England. He was born in Liverpool, England, and educated at the Liverpool Institute. He worked as a journalist in London before emigrating to Canada in 1891. He worked as a rancher in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and wrote stories based on his experiences. He returned to England in 1901 and continued to write novels, many of which were set in the Canadian West. He wrote over 100 novels in his lifetime.
