Hebert D. Kastle

Hebert D. Kastle (1917-2006) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a correspondent for the Associated Press in Europe. After the war, he worked as a reporter for the New York Herald Tribune and wrote for various magazines. Kastle wrote several novels, including Breakdown (1961), The Biggest Game in Town (1962), and The Man Who Couldn't Lose (1964). He also wrote several non-fiction books, including The Great American Tax Revolt (1970) and The Great American Tax Revolt II (1972). He was a member of the Authors Guild and the Mystery Writers of America.
