Helen Simpson

Helen Simpson was an English author who wrote the historical novel Henry VIII in 1934. The novel follows the life of the famous Tudor king, from his childhood to his death. It was well-received by critics and was praised for its vivid descriptions and accurate historical detail. Simpson was also the author of several other historical novels, including The White Rose of York (1935) and The King's Daughter (1937).
