Henry H. Meacham (1845-1917) was an American author and historian. He was born in New York City and educated at Columbia University. He wrote several books on the history of the United States, including The History of the United States from the Earliest Discovery to the Present Time (1890), The History of the Civil War (1893), and The History of the United States from the Discovery of the Continent to the Present Time (1898). He also wrote several books on the history of New York City, including The History of New York City (1899) and The History of the City of New York (1902). He was a member of the American Historical Association and the New York Historical Society. He died in 1917 in New York City.
