Hermine Oudinot Lecomte du Noüy (1876-1962) was a French writer and journalist. She was born in Paris, France, and was the daughter of General Charles Nicolas Oudinot and the granddaughter of Marshal Nicolas Oudinot. She was educated at the Lycée Fénelon and the Sorbonne. Hermine was a prolific writer, publishing over twenty books, including novels, biographies, and travelogues. She was a correspondent for the newspaper Le Figaro and wrote for the magazine La Revue des Deux Mondes. She was also a member of the Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques. Hermine was a strong advocate for women's rights and was a member of the Union des Femmes Françaises. She was also a member of the French Resistance during World War II and was awarded the Croix de Guerre for her service. Hermine was married to the French diplomat and politician, Jean Lecomte du Noüy. She died in 1962 in Paris.
