Ida Lee (1876-1962) was an Australian author and historian. She was born in Sydney and educated at the University of Sydney. She wrote several books on Australian history, including The First Sighting of Australia by the English (1934), which was based on her research into the early exploration of Australia by the English. She was also a member of the Royal Australian Historical Society and the Australian Women's Historical Association. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 1951 for her services to Australian history.
