J.D. Hennessey

J.D. Hennessey was an Australian author and journalist who wrote several books in the late 19th century. He was born in Sydney in 1867 and educated at Sydney Grammar School. He worked as a journalist for the Sydney Morning Herald and the Sydney Mail, and wrote several books, including The Bells of Sydney (1897), The Story of the Rocks (1898), and The Story of the Harbour (1901). He was also a keen amateur photographer and a member of the Royal Photographic Society. He died in Sydney in 1941.
