Jeffery Farnol

Jeffery Farnol (1878-1952) was an English author of romantic fiction and adventure novels. He was born in London and educated at King's College School. He began writing in his twenties, and his first novel, The Broad Highway, was published in 1910. He wrote over forty novels, many of which were bestsellers. His works often featured a romantic hero, a beautiful heroine, and a happy ending. His most popular works include The Broad Highway, The Amateur Gentleman, The Money Moon, and Black Coffee. He was also a prolific writer of short stories and plays. He died in 1952 in London.
