John Henry Fow (1845-1917) was an English author and journalist. He was born in London and educated at King's College London. He began his career as a journalist, writing for the London Times and other publications. He later became a novelist, writing several books, including The Story of a London Clerk (1876), The Story of a Working Man (1877), and The Story of a Working Woman (1878). He also wrote several plays, including The White Slave (1880) and The Golden Calf (1881). Fow was a strong advocate for social reform and was a member of the Fabian Society. He died in 1917 in London.
