John K. Shellenberger

John K. Shellenberger was born in 1867 in Spring Hill, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in the Confederate Army. After the war, he became a farmer and a businessman in the area. He was also a member of the local Masonic Lodge. Shellenberger wrote The Battle of Spring Hill, Tennessee, which was published in 1907. The book is an account of the battle that took place in Spring Hill in November 1864. It includes detailed descriptions of the battle, as well as biographical sketches of the officers and soldiers who fought in it. Shellenberger died in 1934.
