Katherine Shortall

Katherine Shortall (1890-1962) was an American author and journalist. She was born in New York City and attended the University of Wisconsin. She wrote several books, including Where the Sabots Clatter Again (1921), The Little Red Hen (1922), and The Little Red Hen and the Golden Egg (1923). She also wrote for several newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, The Saturday Evening Post, and The Ladies Home Journal. She was a member of the Authors League of America and the National League of American Pen Women. She died in 1962 in New York City.
