Lao-Tze

Lao-Tze (also known as Laozi or Lao Tzu) was an ancient Chinese philosopher and the founder of Taoism. He is believed to have lived in the 6th century BCE, although the exact dates of his life are unknown. He is traditionally credited with writing the Tao Te Ching, the foundational text of Taoism. His teachings have had a profound influence on Chinese culture and have been adopted by many other cultures around the world.
