When a young woman named Fate moves to a small town in the Midwest, she is determined to make a fresh start. But Fate soon discovers that her past is not so easily forgotten. She is haunted by memories of her troubled childhood and the death of her beloved father. Fate finds solace in the arms of a handsome stranger, but their relationship is tested when Fate's past comes back to haunt her. As Fate struggles to come to terms with her past, she must also confront the secrets that have been kept from her. Fate's journey leads her to a place of understanding and acceptance, and ultimately, to a newfound strength and courage. With the help of her newfound friends, Fate discovers that she can overcome her past and create a new future.
