Lucius Daniel

Lucius Daniel was an American science fiction author who wrote during the 1950s. He was born in New York City in 1921 and attended the University of Michigan. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. After the war, he worked as a freelance writer and editor. He wrote several science fiction stories for magazines such as Amazing Stories, Fantastic Adventures, and Galaxy Science Fiction. His most famous work is the novel Martians Never Die, which was published in 1952. The novel follows a group of scientists who travel to Mars to investigate a mysterious signal. Daniel died in 1959 at the age of 38.
