Luis González y González

Luis González y González (1925–2003) was a prominent Mexican historian and academic. He is best known for pioneering the field of microhistory, focusing on local and regional history. His influential work "Pueblo en vilo" examines the history of his hometown, San José de Gracia. González y González served as director of the Mexican Academy of History and was a member of El Colegio Nacional.
