Lydia Louisa Anna Very (1863-1941) was an American author and poet. She was born in New York City and educated at the Packer Collegiate Institute. She wrote several books of poetry, including The Poems of Lydia Louisa Anna Very (1890), The Poems of Lydia Louisa Anna Very, Second Series (1893), and The Poems of Lydia Louisa Anna Very, Third Series (1896). She also wrote several novels, including The Story of a Little Girl (1890), The Story of a Little Boy (1891), and The Story of a Little Girl and a Little Boy (1893). Very was a member of the Authors' Club of New York and the Poetry Society of America. She died in 1941 in New York City.
