Mabel Humphrey is an award-winning author and illustrator of children’s books. She has written and illustrated over 30 books, including the popular series, The Adventures of Little Bear. Her books have been translated into several languages and have been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times and The Washington Post. Humphrey has won numerous awards for her work, including the prestigious Coretta Scott King Award for her book, The Adventures of Little Bear. She has also been honored with the Ezra Jack Keats New Writer Award and the Jane Addams Children’s Book Award. Humphrey lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
