Octavio Feuillet

Octavio Feuillet (1821–1890) was a Spanish playwright and novelist. He was born in Madrid and studied law at the University of Madrid. He began writing plays in the 1840s, and his first play, El caballero de la blanca pluma, was produced in 1845. He wrote a number of successful plays, including El caballero de la blanca pluma, El caballero de la rosa, El caballero de la luna, and El caballero de la estrella. He also wrote several novels, including La hija del corsario and El caballero de la luna. Feuillet was a member of the Royal Spanish Academy and was awarded the Order of Isabella the Catholic in 1887. He died in Madrid in 1890.
