Ralph Straus (1877-1953) was an English novelist and playwright. He was born in London and educated at Oxford University. He wrote several novels, including The Man Who Stayed at Home (1914), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1922), and The Man Who Was Nobody (1925). He was a prolific writer, and his works were popular in both England and America. He was a member of the Royal Society of Literature and was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 1945.
