Ricardo León is a Mexican-American author, journalist, and professor. He is the author of several books, including the novel The Book of I, the memoir The House of Memory, and the nonfiction work The Mexican Dream. He has written for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post, among other publications. He is a professor of Latin American literature at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Literature.
