Robert Williams Wood

Robert Williams Wood (1868–1955) was an American physicist and author known for his work in optics and spectroscopy. He made significant contributions to the development of infrared and ultraviolet photography. Wood was also known for his popular science writing, including books that explained complex scientific concepts to a general audience. His work in experimental physics and his ability to communicate science effectively made him a prominent figure in early 20th-century science.
