Rose Wilder Lane (1886–1968) was an American journalist, travel writer, novelist, and political theorist. She was the daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the "Little House" series. Lane is considered one of the founders of the American libertarian movement. Her notable works include "The Discovery of Freedom" and "Free Land." She also played a significant role in editing and shaping her mother's "Little House" books.
