A Soldier of the Empire

In Thomas Nelson Page's novel A Soldier of the Empire, the story follows the life of a young man named John Randolph, who is born into a wealthy Virginia family in the early 1800s. Randolph is a passionate patriot and dreams of joining the military to fight for the United States in the War of 1812. It is a story of love, loyalty, and courage in the face of adversity.
