Thomas Watling is a British author and journalist. He has written for a variety of publications, including The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, The Financial Times, and The Economist. He is the author of two books, The Great British Adventure: A Journey Through the Landscape of Britain and The Great British Road Trip: A Journey Through the Landscape of Britain. He is also the author of the travel guidebook, The Great British Road Trip: A Guide to the Best of Britain. He is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's From Our Own Correspondent.
