Vincent O'Sullivan (1868–1940) was an Irish-born writer and poet who lived in England for most of his life. He was born in Dublin and educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He moved to London in 1891 and worked as a journalist and editor for various publications. O'Sullivan is best known for his novel The Interval (1905), which was praised for its psychological insight and its exploration of the inner lives of its characters. He also wrote several collections of poetry, including The House of the Titans (1909) and The House of the Wind (1912). His other works include the plays The King's Jester (1909) and The House of the Seven Gables (1913). O'Sullivan was a member of the Rhymers' Club, a group of poets and writers that included W.B. Yeats, Ernest Rhys, and Arthur Symons. He was also a friend of the poet and playwright George Bernard Shaw. O'Sullivan died in 1940 in London.
