I woke up in the morning, some time after seven, I think, and it was almost fully light in the room. I awoke at once into full awareness and swiftly opened my eyes. She was standing by the table holding the revolver. She didn't notice that I had woken up and was watching her. All of a sudden I saw that she had started moving towards me with the gun in her hands. I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be fast asleep.
