We just heard about a scene from a representative day (cf. Mt 8: 5-13) in the life of Jesus, pressed upon by the people, in the midst of the crowd and taking care of their problems. In this case, the problems of a foreigner, a member of the occupation forces-Jesus took care of everyone. It was enough that someone was in need for him to take responsibility.
